Many thanks to Felix Barthel who graciously allowed me to use his beautiful ship design on the cover of my novel Assurity-A Space Thriller. My planning draft design below looked very similar, so when I came upon Felix’s art I was thrilled. But of course, I’m no artist and he is.
I began designing the ship for my space novel Assurity-A Space Thriller early on. My space and science associate Jim Bickford, a true professional space scientist assisted me with functionality for both the antimatter drive and the proper ship layout. (As well as many, many other aspects of the novel.) As a sci-fi space writer you must understand your space vehicles and how the crew functions within each if you are going to portray the setting with conviction.
The novel/screenplay is now complete and available. Many exciting adventures await Veronika Taylor Morgan and her crew aboard Assurity.
